Currently, I am not so broke, and patiently waiting for my boyfriend to come over for today's adventure while my cousin's tweets fill the inbox on my phone. Granted, I have to wait for the check to clear, so I'm not exactly unbroke, and as soon as it does clear, most of it is going towards things I have to pay off. The thought occurred to me today, as I was waiting for the bus back, that it makes me happy that I can pay these things off. I suppose it's that feeling of responsibility. This is the first time in two years that I've received money not from a state organization. I am still getting food stamps, but I feel that's more of an obligation than my unemployment was.

Initially when I got this job, I was looking forward to being able to buy things like laptops, and a copy of the new Warcraft expansion due to hit early December. But in the last few weeks, life hit me like a truck. I did panic for a bit, but I've settled down quite a bit since. And you know what I most look forward to buying now? Socks. Yes, socks. I might even splurg and go to Sock Dreams. Also, the Warcraft Expansion. I made the decision that if I'm going to be poor for a while, I can at least give myself that kind of escape.

Now that I think about it... I should be showering, and not randomly rambling about things. :P
